Passion for Early Childhood Education/Development

I can say it takes a special type of person to want to and be able to work with children in the early childhood range. Typically those children from birth through age age. As teachers we must address each child learning competencies that supports each developmental area such as; cognitive, behavioral, social and physical development milestones. We definitely need to have patience, exhibit creativity and an overall love for the field. As facts states, the National Association for the Education of Young Children reports that the most important characteristic for early child development teachers is to have enthusiasm and passion for children. This is my overall approach to early childhood is to be passionate about you job but most important knowing that you are helping our young children to learn and grow!
